Folks here are OK with much less freedom, and allow the Govt a free hand in Governance, but if you hit their pocket repeatedly they would turn around and bite back. Plus with Dr M instigating us with malicious intentions,
"I think the people of Singapore, like the people of Malaysia, is tired of the same Govt, the same Party since Independence."
The higher a Govt is elevated steeply up the ladder, the harder it would fall. When a situation changes track, it's just a blink of an eyelid.
