WOTC - Fireworks at Countdown to 2019

Was it a good idea to organize the fireworks at the Countdown to 2019?

45 % - It is better to use the money to give more assistance to the poor
33 % - A lot of money was spent and wasted.
18 % - It is better to to reduce the tax burden.
4 % - It is good to spend money to celebrate a new year.
