If one is not fussy, hawker food is cheap to feed a family and easily available.

Cars are the most expensive in the whole wide world😂. A choice of a 4 wheeler to get from A to B or something fancy to impress your friends or neighbours

Seafood is super expensive but crab, sotong and fish balls are 👌. Some people travel to Batam and Johore just to eat seafood despite safety.

Agree that eating out at hawker centres are cheap but cleanliness and the high use of lard put a lot of people off😒.

Eating out in Western Countries are expensive but the food comes in big servings. For Asians, you may only need to order 2 burgers for 4 pax to share👌.

Properties depending on which country to the comparison. Hong Kong, New York and London may be on par?? Still can find cheap properties in Changi. If talking about district 9,10 or 11, forget about it unless you have rich parents or rob a bank.

Clothing there is a choice of Mrs Lee or Jamie Chua.

Reno either chipboard or solid wood. This one may be no choice but solid wood.

Medical is depending on how much you want to live. Can cost a few hundred thousand, or left to die for free🤣.

Legal fees are a no-no. Possible to be in millions. Ask WP. You have a choice to stay free from troubles🤣.

Accommodation, I paid $400 a week in rent for a 3 bedroom house, which was not even in the suburbs when I was a student overseas. Shared by 2 pax only costs $200 per week. Here you pay that amount for a room in an HDB🤣.

A lot of things in this country has been backsliding. What are the benefits when another young party takes over when the older one seems to be losing its grip? Mundane?

HDB resales in prime areas are beyond reach for the young.

New launches and prime areas private properties are beyond the reach of a great part of the population. Affordability is only on the small units. Not a lot above 4 million are selling?

By the way, people in the property businesses have not been talking themselves out of a job yet.
