Covid Vaccination Letter

I read a newspaper article that seniors above age 70 will receive a letter to arrange for the covid vaccination.

Many of these seniors already have SingPass.

I suggest that they be notified through their SingPass and not by a physical letter.

Only those without SingPass need to be notified by letter.

This will reduce the volume of physical mail by perhaps 50%.

It is time to move towards a Smart Nation. We should not continue with outdated practices!

I support standardizing. Like cash cards, there are nets, contactless nets and flashcards.

To top up, different instructions. Insert or standing up. If you press cash card but is flashcard, the machine makes a loud noise and spit out the card.

Some carparks like hotels in Balestia still use the old-style machine. Can go in but cannot come out.

Some you come out, auto, some still slot in hole, some you have to tap. So when you come out, you play a guessing game.

Unless you have driven into that carpark before, you can be a bit slow and kenna horn. It is all because not same style.
