Mahatir is not a saint but he ruled with an iron fist with consistency for 20 yrs. After him, Malaysia would be difficult to have someone secured, with too much corruption and filling its own pockets. Too many states. Only he so far has managed to get Najib to court, Though likely he got away scot-free his face is smeared. Power struggle would be the norm from now on. Do not do business with them. Too risky.
Thanks to LKY, he left behind a solid structural good country.
