Company seal - an outdated practice

I sold my unit in midview city. The lawyer asked me to sign a document with a company seal.

I did not use the company seal for more than ten years. Indeed, this is the first time that I am using the company seal.

Surely there is a better way to executive the transfer of the property than to use the company seal? Why use an outdated process that started a few centuries ago?

I was also asked to bring the "company chop". The company does not register the chop. It is required for many documents, including applications to government agencies and business entities. Anybody can pay $5 to make a company chop of another company.

Singapore is still continuing with outdated and inefficient processes.

In Singapore nothing is standardised. Depending on who you asked, even it is from the same company, the left hand unaware of what the right hand is doing. As long as one can earn money everything also can, even if it means circumventing it. I felt embarrassed when people living here said this country is very money face. I think this sentence about money face has become even more prevalent nowadays. Really sticks out.

Looking forward to a day where leaders can come up with tiny changes but remarkable results.
At the moment, drunks in parliament are coming up with remarkable changes with tiny results. hee hee

In order to have a party that can resonate with a whole audience, it should consist of

members whose ages range from 20 to 100.

Since the hiring of this and that pass-holders salaries or levies are

constantly increasing, big glomerates have now in the habit of hiring fresh

graduates or inexperience locals which

definitely is much cheaper. This, in turn, has caused a lot of frustrations for consumers.

When a problem surfaces instead of solving it professionally, each and everyone started to

point fingers and cover the backside. If you look carefully in our country today, most of

ex-pats from the developed countries are getting lesser and more are now from the third

world countries. You can see the difference that the quality ex-pats are avoiding this

country now. Everything is very troublesome which is what most good ex-pat says. It has

now become a very frustrating country to work and to live in.
