HDB - Built to Order (BTO)

 Wisdom of the Crowd: 82% of the respondents said that HDB should move away from the Build to Order (BTO) system and build flats in advance of demand to reduce the waiting time.

You know first-hand what you are going through. What is even worse is they are so well-pleased

with themselves and their own acts and delude themselves as good government. Flatterers always

put out what people should hear; they never speak the truth, especially if the truth is

unpleasant, they magnify their accomplishments( which have been nothing since March

2015). At some point, to be sure, growing public suspicion and widespread feelings of

their mismanagement is real. They have underestimated the disappointments the people felt

time after time and the public is less willing to provide their patience any longer.

One thing is for sure if Lee Kuan Yew is in charge he would not put up with what is happening to the people now. You know people used to say, this is Singapore, things like that wont happen here. I am not lying and I repeat that I am not lying, nowadays people do not say that anymore. In fact whatever people are buying they do not have a piece of mind. Some properties more than 40 years old, advert selling tenure as Unknown pricing more than a million dollars. Got such thing meh? The image that the foreigners used to have about Singapore is now making us a laughing stock.
When you make a complaint or give feedback to the agencies involved, they washed their hands and direct you somewhere else. You go to the somewhere else, they said it is not their problem, to go to the police. The police said not their problem, civil case. And so the people end up sucking it up. As much as I like LHL, and would be sad to see him go, I think it is best that we need an overhaul of those lip service useless washing hands government agencies.

Properties. A large number of ordinary folks are against:

a) property speculations
b) high debt risks buyers
c) the never-ending increase in prices.

Relatively, society is also against the never-ending policies of not cutting some slack for buyers who may genuinely need homes for their loved ones. A balancing act does not mean a one-way street?
