Singapore Airlines pricing policy

It's been quite a standard business model for airlines, especially flag carriers to charge domestic originated flights as much as they can get away with and foreign originated flights as low as they can afford to allow.

Domestic market is semi-captive with national brandname awareness and inertia. Foreign market is the real battlefield for volume.
