I agree with this concern expressed by Prime Minister Lee.

The stress of life in Singapore is causing this bad behavior. But, it does not give us the excuse to behave badly.

Singaporeans dun really behave this unruly in the past. Who contributed to this trend - it's our "zhi yi wei shi" Govt.
Without a public referendum on foreign immigration, they SNEAKILY opened the gate wide for any Tom, Dick or Harry to flood our tiny island with foreigners, straining our transport, medical, housing and educational services up to breaking point. Then the Authorities expect us to accept them with open arms, with the absurd excuse, "we have to grab as much talents in first, else we'll lose them to other countries." Even if some of these foreigners are just as unruly, stepping on our National dignity and pride, we have to still smile.
The Govt has still not waken up to the new National awakening that the
"Xian zhan hou zou" way of Governing in the past is just that - passe like the dinosauer.
We are really a civilized Nation, at least the local spectators kept their cool in that video of that PRC woman strutting herself proudly on the bus. If this scene is in China, she would been beaten up by the locals. PM Lee chose to selectively ignore this.
Exactly my sentiments, yujuan.
How to encourage big-heartedness, tolerance and good behavior when the PAP itself does not practice what it preaches, especially towards opposition MPs and voters? That is why they are loosing their moral authority with such callings and people taking their calls as merely paying lip-service.
