Lectures with his mask off?

WHY ARE POLY STUDENTS NOT TESTED? (FORUM PAGE STRAITS TIMES)
I understand that university lecturers and students need to take weekly antigen rapid tests (ARTs) when they attend physical classes.

However, at Republic Polytechnic, only the lecturers are required to take an ART while students who attend these same physical classes are exempted from the requirement. May I know what the logic behind this is?

Opening cans of worms:

When families are living together, they more or less are eating together daily. There will always be some people who just want to have it all, eating together home and out. There are sacrifices to be made big or small in times of uncertainty.

It does not help that we have a now government that either they are (1))only trying to cater to a small group, at the expanse of the majority or (2)solve A at the inconvenience B,C,D.

Sorry to say this. Have they been able to come out with anything that does not cause major side effects?

Who knows? Those engaged in the everyday business of politics, even the best of statesmen/women sells only their version. No matter how well informed any of us are or not on any specific issues, it is a safe bet that at any given moment, our leaders do not understand what actually is happening on the ground level. They are frequently caught having to respond to and juggle events, without seeing with eyes of wholeness but are more concerned with safeguarding the particular narrowly defined interest, or merely their own reputations and above all re-election.

Anyway, to put it, people have to have basic needs met and be free from exploitation, injustice and degradation at the hands of others.
