As brought up before, people have to grapple with high costs of daily living, some even dun know there would be money to buy food for today's dinner as the breadwinner suddenly fall sick, then local staff in the MNCs have to slog extra hours, eyeing sudden deluge of Europeans employed by their MNC bosses in their offices, and fearing for their ricebowls snatched away by these new Angmo colleagues.
And you have PAP leaders like Heng Swee Kiat and Ann Sim talking monologues about what we wan Singapore to be in 20 years time.
Oh dear, who could afford to think about the next 20 long years, only the million dollar paid Ministers could afford this luxury, not us.
We live only in the present, today, tomorrow, next month, maybe next year, after that, can't afford to care anymore. This is the job of the politicians, not ordinary folks like us.
We just wan the Ministers to solve our problems this very minute, today, maybe tomorrow.
Also, may we remind our Ministers to stop calling us degrading names, something like one eye dragon. The buck for mocking Singaporeans stop at our respected
LKY, please dun try to be clones of him, we won't accept any other little LKYs w.e.f today.
Only one wish for the Govt leaders, please dun drag feet, action speaks louder than words, for God's sake, solve our problems and worries right this very minute.
How about "Planning for S'pore in 20 years' time without PAP" ? LOL.
"some even dun know there would be money to buy food for today's dinner as the breadwinner suddenly fall sick.."
My brother-in-law, a taxi driver, felt sick and warned by GP. He drop his taxi at TTSH car park and rush himself to Emergency. He was warded immediately for mini stroke. Her wife did not know the incident as she will be admited for a brain surgery next month.
In this case, how to pay taxi rental as he had signed a long term contract with the taxi operator. Will be able to work after discharge? Where to find money to pay hospital for both himself and his wife? How to have money for his child's school fee?
How about food and utilities....?
The 57yo driver finally crying....
Yes, let us get ready for a Singapore without the PAP.
20 years time?
How about 10 years?
Maybe, in 4 years time.
Or perhaps, a New PAP, just like those Chinese establishments that used to retain the old brand names....
