14 Mar 2020 (Sat) -- 1st day of March school holidays.

Budget Speech should be in later half of Feb.

It will be an Election Budget -- plenty of angbaos & goodies for all.

Of course PAP will say in order for them to pass the angbaos & goodies in parliament, they need sinkies to give them strong mandate!

Anything that is not profitable or too much of a bothersome they will sell it to be privatised so as not state own. Private enterprise is a business so they washed their hands on nationalisation.


The best money making are the development of private condos including EC. Land sales to the highest bidder, the development charges, the GST, taxes, stamp duties, stinking ABSD so on and so forth. If EC is under HDB rules why collect all the money from the middle man where the buyers were to absorb all the cost. It should be either private property or HDB not in between. If it is HDB, than it should be build by HDB like BTO.

Even if they are to give angpaos and goodies to the votes, we already have in mind not to vote for them as all these are not genuine gestures and not from the heart.

We are not putting words in every bodies mouth by not voting for them. Our group definitely the 31%. Some senior people are well-travelled, educated and very experienced. Who needs all these immature's lecture talk and act like they are LKY?

One correction ... HDB doesn't actually build the flats. All along they tender out to private developers.

For BTO they select the lowest bidders. Hence for over the past 15 years it's usually the China developers.

For EC they select the highest bidders. The pricing includes the land plus construction.

EC buyers get ownership of the land -- they get strata title deeds. HDB buyers don't have.
