WOTC - Get consent for minor procedures

Should a doctor ask a patient for consent for minor procedures?

58 % - it is better to get the consent in case there are some unexpected side effects.
22 % - How is the patient able to judge whether or not to give the consent?
16 % - Let the doctor make the judgment and get insurance to pay for any harm caused by unexpected side effect.
4 % - The consent should only be asked for complex procedures.
