Govt 'will try our best' to support all local firms that want to upgrade: Chan Chun Sing.

The compelling explanations why do they need support? Is it because it is harder to do businesses now than long ago? You don't hear about all kinds of support during the first and second Prime Minister's time? Vouchers, handouts, baby bonuses, subsidies, grants and cannot keep track. Wah Piang eh. Identify the problems not keep handing out plasters!

Welfare state or rich state?
Or is it possible for the two to go together?

If and when they are able to create a friendly environment for people to thrive whether it is

business, birth, physical and mental help from family members for the aged so on and so

on, there is no need to keep giving out monetary gains to spur or bribe people to do things?

They solve by using the only thing they ever know, and that is money. Counterintuitive! By

taxing huge sums or giving out sums! Everything they do has got money tag on it.

To have balancing productivity we need teams that are in their 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s &

80s. Bring Panjang back. Putting personal aside, Hong Yi will be good in doing the dirty

job All he needs is fire a few and all the rest will straighten up.

Freehold Anchorage average transacted prices @ $1400 psf. (old)

99 years Commonwealth Towers average transacted prices @ $1900 psf. (new)

They are neighbours.

It is evident that it does not matter whether freehold or leasehold. The new condos cost a lot more.

It is not possible for the Government to fully offset the impact of SARS on the economy. However, the Government can and will render assistance to the tourism and transport-related sectors, to help them tide over this difficult period and also to save jobs wherever possible.

The outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) has created public anxiety and taken a toll on businesses. The hardest and most directly hit are tourism and transport-related industries like an airline, cruise, hotel, restaurant, travel agent, retail and taxi services. Other sectors like manufacturing are less affected.

Government agencies such as the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), SPRING, Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), and Land Transport Authority have been meeting industry players to understand their problems. Arising from the consultations, the Government has decided to implement a package of relief measures.

The country survived with minimal impact?
No matter what no need to have the last word?
Professionals have their talents and area of expertise.
control every minor detail makes full capacity feels inhibited.
SARS was as much deadly as COVID!
