Use of ivermectin in treating covid patients
I posted a link to a video on ivermectin.
Facebook posted a caution - Some unapproved medication may cause harm.
As advised by Facebook, I check with the World Health Organization website and found the following:

WHO said that the use of ivermectin is inconclusive, due to the small sample. It did not mention any harm from its use.
I have seen the results of some clinical trials that showed that ivermectin is safe and reduces the risk of getting infected. The studies also show that ivermectin is also effective in treating infected patients.
It is also inexpensive.
As we now have a vaccine for covid-19, it is better to get vaccinated, as it is more convenient and probably more effective.
However, it may be useful for our hospital to carry out a large scale trial on the use of ivermectin for treating patients with mild forms of the covid disease.
It can be orally taken and administered in a community facility.
I understand that more severe illnesses have to be treated with administered in a hospital and involve the use of more expensive drugs, such as remdesivir.
Some proponents of ivermectin alleged that the health authorities are not prepared to consider the use of ivermectin due to the strong lobby of the pharmaceutical industry which has a vested interest in selling the expensive drugs and vaccines.

Difficult to make vaccination compulsory
Someone made this observation - The government force people to wear seat belts in cars. They can also force people to get vaccinated.
I think there is a difference. The seat belt does not kill people. The vaccine may cause some deaths, although the incidence is very low. This is why it is difficult to force people to be vaccinated.

Hypothesis - the virus reduce in severity over time
I want to make an observation and to put up a hypothesis.
When the covid virus first appeared in Wuhan, China, it was lethal. Many people died. It affected mostly the elderly people, but many young people also succumb to the virus.
It move to Italy and cause large fatalities. It then spread to other cities in Europe and America, with devastating results.
A few months later, the virus became less lethal. The death rate came down.
When happened? Here is my hypothesis. I suspect that the virus becomes less harmful over time.

Why are some people not infected by a close contact?
We pay a lot of attention to the transmission of the virus from an infected person to another person.
However, we are not paying attention to the non-transmission of the virus.
What do I mean?
If an infected person transmit the virus to another person in the same household, why are the other persons in the same household, who have the same exposure, not infected?
If we pay attention to the uninfected people, who have similar exposures, we may learn something about the resistance to the transmission.
Perhaps, a study can be carried out on the people in these households.

Ministers should provide clear leadership and listen to the people
I had a Zoom meeting with a Singaporean friend, X, who has lived overseas for several years. He followed the politics in Singapore closely through the internet.
X made the following remarks:
1. The 4G leaders are not giving a clear message to the people on their handling of the pandemic.
2. The 4G leaders are not listening to the views of the general
public.
I gave my views.
Can the people in China question the CCP leaders?
Someone said - people in China does not question their CCP leaders.
I disagree with this statement. Here are my reasons:
Use logic, reasoning and statistical knowledge
Someone asked me if I watched videos of doctors who hold alternative opinions, e.g. about the risk of vaccination.
I do.
I watched many alternative videos (but not all of them).
I use my logic, reasoning and knowledge of statistics to know what is reliable and what is not.
Some of these doctors with alternative views talk about the possibility that the virus can cause certain kinds of side effects.
My common sense tells me that we should differentiate between the rare case and the majority of cases. We should use what is statistically significant to make decisions, i.e. cannot decide on the rare cases.
Some of these doctors want to build up a channel of followers. They exaggerate the rare cases and hope that many people (I shall not call them idiots) follow them.
I decide what is relevant and what is not. I share the videos and views that I find to be reliable and useful. They are meant for people who trust that I know how to use logic, reasoning and common sense.
People who think that they are smarter than me are not required to agree with me. But I do not wish to spend (waste) my time to debate with them.
Provide email and telephone number of ACRA entities
I wanted to search for the email and telephone of a company called KingRex Solutions Pte Ltd.
I found several websites that take information from ACRA.
For example
They show a lot of information but not the email address and telephone number.
Surely, in the modern era, the email address and telephone number provided by the registered ACRA entity is more important than the physical address?
I suggest that this information be provided by ACRA.
