Chip Eng Seng 3 year 6.5% fixed rate notes
I received an email from a stock broking firm about a 3 year fixed rate note issued by a subsidiary of Chip Eng Seng Corp (CESC) and guaranteed by the CESC.
It offers a coupon rate of 6.5% and is for 3 years. The note is described as "direct, unconditional, unsubordinated and unsecured".
Here are my personal view of this note.

Review of Top Glove (BVA.SI)
I bought 80,000 shares of Top Glove at $0.96 for a total investment of $76,800 SGD. The stock price has dropped to $0.76 giving me a loss of 20% or $15,300.
The stock price went to a high of $3.00 in Feb 2021. It has since dropped 75% from the peak.

Lianhua Qingwen products
Someone said.
HSA said it is aware of claims that Lianhua Qingwen products can be used to prevent or treat Covid-19, which have been circulating on social media and in Telegram chat groups.
HSA added that some Lianhua Qingwen products are listed as Chinese proprietary medicines in Singapore for the relief of cold and flu symptoms, and their approval was based on the documented uses of the ingredients present in the products.
However, they are not approved by HSA to treat or alleviate symptoms of Covid-19.
