Lianhua Qingwen products

 Someone said.

HSA said it is aware of claims that Lianhua Qingwen products can be used to prevent or treat Covid-19, which have been circulating on social media and in Telegram chat groups.

HSA added that some Lianhua Qingwen products are listed as Chinese proprietary medicines in Singapore for the relief of cold and flu symptoms, and their approval was based on the documented uses of the ingredients present in the products.

However, they are not approved by HSA to treat or alleviate symptoms of Covid-19.

Avoid appearing to be judgmental

Some people like to use statements like "X is right" or "X is wrong".

They appear to be passing judgment on X. They do not have the credibility to pass this kind of judgment.

It is better to say "I agree with X" or "I disagree with X" or "I have a different opinion".

Discrimination against the unvaccinated

I am not sure if you agree but we look to you for affirmation.

The current discrimination against the unvaccinated is divisive and cruel.

The failure to convince the rest of Singaporeans must surely be the failure of our authorities inability to educate the public, the authorities flip-flop policies (unmask to mask, pandemic to endemic, social distancing restrictions with changing limits, etc).

Perhaps there is a good reason why unvaccinated is waiting for the authorities to finalized their policies.

In addition, the china vaccines are not available in sufficient quantity and there is a dateline before severe draconian discrimination against the unvaccinated.

Will China lead to the downfall of the US?

Peter Elliott (NZ) replied.

Most likely way is to destroy the USD hegemony.

Having said that, Trump sort of started it by weaponising the USD, and SWIFT in particular. As a consequence China is moving away from trading in USD, along with other countries like Russia, Iran and parts of Europe.

Once trade is done with other currencies the massive debt that the US holds won’t be so well supported and the value of the USD will plummet if not collapse according to a lot of economists.

Of course it might not happen and it might just be another doomsayer thing, but it’s the only way China will have a hand in the downfall of the US. If that was to happen.
