Whether bull dozing policies through Parliament, or executing such policies on the ground, Govt is unable to come to terms with changing times in the electronate.
Other than perceived lowering of property values or fear of traffic congestion, dialogue with residents involved are not productive, as the message is always, "we have decided to go ahead, we are only here to inform you out of respect", then full stop, no more dialogue anymore, and construction quickly begins.
The usual antiquated system in Governance, still think they are living in the past century, the dinosauer LKY's way.
