Singapore Flags at Cactus Crescent

One third of the houses at Cactus Crecent, where I live, are now displaying the Singapore flag for National Day. I wonder if they read my earlier blog (where I said that few houses are displaying the flag) or it is just that National Day is now approaching.

Here is a message from PM Lee
http://www.tremeritus.com/2012/08/03/pm-lee-always-glad-to-see-singaporeans-flying-our-flag-with-pride/

There was a time when more Singaporeans were proud to fly the Singapore flag. This feeling has reduced considerably in recent years. It is a reflection that PM Lee's policies were not well received by the people.

Mr Tan is being too nice, not putting up the flag is a form of silent protest.
