Increase in motor insurance premiums

Several people have informed me about the large increase in motor insurance premiums this year.

I felt insurance companies have themselves to blame for inflated claims.

In most case, insurance companies readily pays up whenever being threatened with lawyer's letter. Many cases were not investigated at all, and any witnes which you indicated in the accident report were not called up for verification. I have heard many such cases and I'm a victim myself too.

TO sidetrack a little, existing law is extreme one-sided. You are at fault as long as you bump into someone. It does not have any consideration if the front vehicle is acting in a proper manner or not.
